Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be patient and a strong team player, able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds, 18+ years old.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and team-oriented.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist with training and collaborate with the BCBA and team to monitor progress.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment and document observed behaviors and progress.
