Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized intervention plans under BCBA supervision. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and candidates should be patient, compassionate, and collaborative with the team. Expect a fast-paced environment with hands-on care, movement, lifting up to 50 pounds, and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Move and assist children as needed, ensuring safety during activities.
