Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, in a supportive, team-oriented setting. The role involves physical activities and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test may be required (within the last year).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds).
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Create a safe, supportive environment and monitor progress.
