Job summary

Centria Autism in Sierra Vista, AZ seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, teach communication and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, and collaborate with a dedicated team.

This role emphasizes compassion, patience, and physical demands, with pay range of $18-24 per hour and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with a BCBA and team to support each child’s progress.
