Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children who have autism. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required—we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, able to work well in a team, and comfortable helping children

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Reliable, patient, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test, and pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
