Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's supervision, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills with evidence-based methods.

We provide comprehensive training, so no prior experience is required. You will need to be patient, compassionate and able to handle physical demands while helping children move and learn new skills daily.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
