Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work with children on the autism spectrum. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Comprehensive training is provided. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with a supportive team to help children reach their full potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA to guide intervention.
• Assist children in standing, walking, bending, lifting when needed.
• Provide caring, patient support and monitor progress with the team.
