Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires patient, compassionate helpers who can stand and lift up to 50 pounds, with pay range

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors where appropriate.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress and adapt plans.
• Document and communicate progress with families and supervisors.
