Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Move and position children as needed; assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide meaningful, positive support to children and their families daily.
