Job summary

CENTRIA Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to help children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized plans and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are prepared to support each child, even if you have no prior experience. Be prepared for active, dynamic work and opportunities to grow with a caring team.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to support children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test required (if not current).
• Pass background check prior to employment.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one services to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Monitor and reduce interfering behaviors while ensuring child safety.
• Participate as part of a collaborative team and follow training protocols.
