Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism on a one-on-one basis, delivering behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while working to reduce challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Assist BCBA in implementing evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes for children.
