Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism, one-on-one, under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while ensuring safety and progress.

The role offers comprehensive training, requires 18+, a high school diploma or GED, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour, with benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsabilités

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
