Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, a competitive pay rate of $19-$25 per hour, and a supportive team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in each child’s life.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to interact with, and for the safety and protection of your client(s).
