Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques. Training is provided, and no prior experience is required.

The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour. Candidates should be patient, reliable, and able to work well in a team, with HS diploma or GED and ability to

Qualifications

• Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age and a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and a TB test.
• Background check required prior to employment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sit or stand up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Run or move quickly as needed to interact with and protect the client(s).
