You will own day-to-day operations, profitability, and customer relationships while leading a skilled team in a fast-paced electrical services environment.

The role requires a strong background in electrical contracting, proven leadership, and deep knowledge of the Austin market.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in electrical contracting, electrical construction, or electrical services.
• Experience leading a branch, business unit, or large operations team.
• Strong financial management skills including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Experience managing customer relationships, operations, and growth in the Austin market.
• Established professional relationships and knowledge of the Austin-area market.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities; proficiency with Office and ERP systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsites as needed.
• OSHA or safety certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including field operations, administration, warehouse activities, scheduling, and customer service.
• Manage branch budgets, forecasting, labor costs, P&L, WIP reporting, and overall profitability.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, employee development, and retention.
• Establish operational goals, monitor productivity, and implement process improvements.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and local partners.
• Identify business development opportunities and drive customer retention and branch growth.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and objectives.
