Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking a Senior Branch Manager for the Austin-area operation to lead and grow an established site in Round Rock. This role requires a strong leader to drive operational execution, workforce development, customer relationships, and branch profitability.

The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in operations/branch management within construction, industrial, logistics, or services, with proven financial acumen and a track record of building teams and partnerships.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive leadership in operations or branch management.
• Experience overseeing branch operations, workforce performance, and budgets.
• Strong financial and business acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience in electrical contracting, construction, industrial, or service environments preferred.
• Proven people leadership and employee development experience.
• Strong relationships in the Austin-area market with customers, vendors, and partners.
• Ability to develop and maintain key business relationships; excellent communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and scheduling/operational tech platforms.
• Valid driver’s license; OSHA or similar safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch performance across operations, admin, warehouse, customer service, staffing, and growth.
• Manage branch financials including budgeting, labor, forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
• Lead workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and retention.
• Set branch priorities and ensure alignment with company goals and performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors and partners.
• Serve as escalation point for customer, employee, and operational issues.
• Support customer retention, business development, and growth in the Austin area.
• Promote safety, accountability, teamwork, mentorship, and a positive culture.
