Senior Branch Manager
Location: Austin / Round Rock, TX
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior-level Branch Manager to lead and grow an established Austin-area operation. This individual will operate the branch much like its own business unit while remaining aligned with overall company goals, standards, and culture. The ideal candidate will bring approximately 8-12+ years of progressive experience within operations, branch management, construction, industrial, logistics, service, or general business management. This role requires a strong leader who can oversee operational execution, financial performance, workforce development, customer relationships, and continued branch growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall branch performance, including operations, administrative functions, warehouse activities, customer service, staffing, productivity, profitability, and business growth
- Manage branch financial performance, including budgeting, labor management, forecasting, cost control, profitability, productivity, WIP reporting, and operational reporting
- Lead workforce planning, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, employee development, performance management, accountability, succession planning, and retention
- Establish branch priorities and ensure day-to-day execution aligns with company goals and performance expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and local business partners
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer, employee, and operational concerns
- Support customer retention, business development, and continued growth within the Austin-area market
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, mentorship, excellence, and positivity
Qualifications
- Approximately 8-12+ years of progressive leadership experience within operations, branch management, construction, industrial, logistics, service, or general business management
- Previous experience overseeing branch operations, workforce performance, financial performance, budgets, and overall operational execution
- Strong financial and business acumen, including experience with:
- Budgeting
- Labor management
- Forecasting
- Cost control
- Profitability
- Productivity
- WIP reporting
- Operational and financial reporting
- Experience within electrical contracting, construction, industrial, or service-related environments strongly preferred
- Strong people leadership and employee-development experience
- Established relationships and professional connections within the Austin-area market strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and business partners
- Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and scheduling or operational technology platforms preferred
- Valid driver's license required
- OSHA or other construction/industrial safety certifications preferred
