Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking a senior-level Branch Manager to operate our Austin-area branch as its own business unit, aligned with PRG’s goals, standards, and culture. The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years of progressive experience in operations and branch management, with a record of leading branch performance, budgeting, workforce development, and customer relationships to drive growth.

Experience in electrical contracting, construction, or service environments is strongly preferred.

Looking for a senior-level Branch Manager who can essentially operate the Austin-area branch as its own business unit while remaining aligned with the overall company's goals, standards, and culture.

They are looking for someone with approximately 8–12+ years of progressive experience within operations, branch management, construction, industrial, logistics, service, or general business management.

The ideal candidate should have previous leadership experience overseeing branch operations, workforce performance, financial performance, budgets, and overall operational execution.

Experience within electrical contracting, construction, industrial, or service-related environments is strongly preferred.

Strong financial knowledge is important, specifically experience with:

• Budgeting
• Labor management
• Forecasting
• Cost control
• Profitability
• Productivity
• WIP reporting
• Operational and financial reporting

The Branch Manager will oversee the branch's overall performance, including operations, administrative functions, warehouse activities, customer service, staffing, productivity, profitability, and business growth.

This person will also be responsible for hiring, onboarding, training, employee development, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, accountability, leadership development, succession planning, and retention.

They need someone comfortable building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and local business partners, while also serving as the primary escalation point for customer and operational concerns.

Important candidate profile: Enterprise Electrical specifically wants someone in the Austin area who already has strong local relationships and connections. They are looking for an established leader who understands the market and can leverage those relationships to support customer retention, business development, and continued branch growth.

Additional preferred qualifications include experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, scheduling/operational technology platforms, a valid driver's license, and ideally OSHA or other construction/industrial safety certifications.
