Job summary

Peyton Resource Group is seeking an experienced Senior Branch Manager to lead the Austin-area branch as its own business unit, overseeing operations, administration, warehouse activities, customer service, staffing, productivity, profitability, and growth.

The role requires a hands-on, established Austin-based leader who knows the local market and can build relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to drive retention and expansion.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of progressive experience within operations, branch management, construction, industrial, logistics, service, or related business management.
• Experience within electrical contracting, construction, industrial, or service-related environments.
• Previous leadership experience overseeing branch operations, workforce performance, financial performance, budgets, and overall operational execution.
• Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, labor management, forecasting, cost control, profitability, and WIP reporting.
• Experience supporting organizational growth, operational scaling, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Must be comfortable building and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and local business partners.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, scheduling/operational technology platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and overall performance of the Austin-area branch as its own business unit.
• Oversee branch operations, administrative functions, warehouse activities, customer service, staffing, productivity, profitability, and growth.
• Hire, onboarding, training, employee development, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, accountability, leadership development, succession planning, and retention.
• Develop and leverage relationships to support customer retention, business development, and branch growth.
