Job summary

Hi Sign Brewing in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on Sales Representative to own a territory and grow on-premise and off-premise sales. You’ll spend most of your time in the field, visiting accounts, working with distributors, and representing the brand in pubs and retailers.

You will build routes, open placements, merchandise, and run tastings and events while maintaining relationships with buyers and bar managers. This role requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a passion for craft beer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales or account-management experience.
• Prior alcohol sales experience (beer, wine, or spirits).
• Live in the Austin metro and can cover the territory in a day.
• Valid Texas driver’s license, clean driving record, and a reliable insured vehicle.
• Ability to get a TABC seller-server certification (or already have one).
• Ability to lift, move, and roll full kegs and cases (up to 165 lbs) and to work in coolers and on your feet.
• Comfortable working some nights, weekends, and events.
• A phone voice and a follow-through habit. You do what you said you would do.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a weekly route of on-premise and off-premise accounts in Austin and nearby markets.
• Open new draft and package placements and protect existing ones.
• Merchandise coolers, build displays, and keep Hi Sign visible at the POS.
• Partner with our Austin distributor through ride-alongs and order follow-through.
• Run tastings, staff trainings, tap takeovers, and night/weekend events.
• Call on buyers, bar managers, and owners; follow up and close deals.
• Track activity and results to inform what works best.
