Job summary

Frost PLLC in the United States seeks an Audit Senior I to join our growing team. You will lead fieldwork, supervise staff, and deliver high-quality GAAP-compliant audit opinions across manufacturing and related industries.

Travel nationally (20–40 nights/year) is required as you engage client teams and coordinate engagements from setup to close. You’ll work with seasoned partners to develop you professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA exam eligibility or CPA certification.
• Minimum three years of experience.
• Experience in Public Accounting and auditing.
• Experience with manufacturing, agribusiness or related industries preferred.
• Experience with audit software.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and related topics.
• Ability to travel nationally to client sites (20-40 nights/yr).
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit procedures over assigned client segments with sufficient audit evidence and quality focus.
• Lead smaller engagements and components of larger engagements.
• Manage entire audit file from start to finish.
• Prepare less complex audit reports and concise work papers.
• Document recommendations for client communication.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Supervise staff and provide feedback for growth.
• Communicate with clients in preparation for audit.
• Perform engagement-level risk assessments.
• Ensure general file completion and independent work.
• Assist with audit fieldwork for operations and finance.
• Identify issues and apply GAAP/auditing standards.
