Frost, PLLC in Arkansas is seeking an Audit Associate to join our national audit practice. You will work with experienced staff and partners to complete fieldwork for operational and financial audits across multiple industries.

The role emphasizes independent and collaborative work, with opportunities to grow in GAAP and auditing standards. You will complete audit testing, document work papers, and develop client recommendations while maintaining ongoing professional development through required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and related topics.
• Ability to travel nationally for audit fieldwork (40-60 nights/year).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to work extended hours during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Completion of audit testing on client financial statements with focus on audit quality.
• Prepare work papers with conclusions and recommendations for clients.
• Work independently and collaboratively on audits.
• Assist with audit fieldwork for operational and financial audits.
• Identify issues and apply accounting/auditing procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with client staff.
• Maintain 40 hours of CPE annually.
• Communicate effectively and escalate risks when needed.
• Complete tasks to a high-quality standard and apply GAAP knowledge.
