Job summary

Frost, PLLC in Arkansas is seeking an audit associate to join our team. You will work with experienced audit staff and partners, perform nationwide fieldwork, and prepare work papers with concrete conclusions and recommendations.

You’ll apply GAAP knowledge, travel 40–60 nights per year, and collaborate across teams to ensure high-quality audits. Flexibility for extended hours and ongoing CPE is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and related topics.
• Ability to travel nationally (40–60 nights/yr).
• Must have a current, valid driver's license.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit testing on client financial statement segments with sufficient evidence.
• Prepare clear work papers documenting results and conclusions.
• Work independently and collaboratively within audit teams.
• Assist with fieldwork for operational and financial audits.
• Demonstrate ability to identify issues and apply accounting/auditing procedures.
• Develop positive relationships with client staff.
• Maintain CPE and uphold professional skepticism and quality standards.
