Job summary

Frost PLLC is seeking an Audit Senior I to lead audit fieldwork across various client segments and industries. You will supervise staff, prepare work papers, and ensure high-quality conclusions aligned with GAAP and auditing standards.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA eligibility, and travel up to 40 nights per year. Expect professional development, mentoring, and a collaborative firm culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and auditing concepts.
• Ability to travel nationally for audit fieldwork (20-40 nights/year).

Responsibilities

• Complete audit procedures over assigned client financial statement segments with sufficient evidence.
• Serve as in charge of smaller engagements and components of larger engagements.
• Prepare and post journal entries; supervise staff and review work.
• Communicate with clients in preparation for audit; document findings and conclusions.
• Perform inventory observations and assess risks; escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain 40 hours of Continuing Professional Education annually.
