This role emphasizes GAAP knowledge, professional skepticism, and strong communication. You will travel nationally to client sites, maintain at least 40 hours of CPE annually, and contribute to high-quality audits in diverse industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of GAAP and other accounting topics.
• Ability to travel nationally to client sites (40-60 nights/year).
• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit testing on client financial statements with sufficient audit evidence.
• Prepare clear work papers documenting procedures, results, and conclusions.
• Work both independently and with teams on audit fieldwork.
• Demonstrate ability to identify issues and apply accounting principles.
• Develop relationships with client staff and demonstrate professional skepticism.
