Job summary

Starkey Retail is seeking an Audiology Technician to support licensed audiologists and manage front-desk operations at our clinic locations. You will assist with testing, instrument cleaning, patient intake, and insurance processing, under supervision, while maintaining patient privacy and compliance with state laws.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of customer service or patient care experience and/or one year of office management experience.
• Ability to develop knowledge of software systems including Excel, Word, and Sycle.net.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Greet and service all guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Check patients in/out of patient management software and track orders/sales.
• Schedule and confirm full audiometric evaluations and other appointments.
• Direct and answer calls in a timely, professional fashion.
• Support referrals from physicians and provide testing data for billing.
• Enter daily activity in patient management software and organize office operations.
• Maintain supplies, protect patient privacy, and manage insurance information.
• Assist with counseling and cleaning of hearing instruments; monitor and facilitate testing.
• Support clinic performance through documentation, reporting and inter-team coordination.
