Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an Auction Support Specialist to assist the auctioneer by accurately recording vehicle and customer information and providing administrative support on sale days.

You will use the AS400 system to record bids, verify sold units, and confirm client data, while coordinating with the auctioneer virtually and handling customer requests through phone, email, chat, and tickets. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and typically less than two years of experience;

• Typically less than 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process all sold units, and verify/enter lights.
• Work with auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents vehicle.
• Verify vehicle run order to ensure the appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
• Operate monitor virtually, work with the auctioneer to review Simulcast bids.
• Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
• In partnership of client services contact center operations to receive and respond to customer requests through various channels (e.g. phone, email, chat, and ticketing).
• Other duties as assigned.
