Job summary

Newrez LLC is hiring an Attorney Network Manager to drive performance across attorney firms and foreclosure trustees within our network. You will oversee coordinators, coordinate with Corporate Legal and External Audit, and ensure GSE compliance and regulatory updates.

The role reports to Legal/Compliance leadership. The ideal candidate will have a JD or advanced degree, 6–8 years in legal operations or mortgage-related roles, strong analytics, and proven project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Advanced degree or JD a plus.
• 6-8 years related experience.
• Working knowledge of foreclosure and bankruptcy proceedings and internal legal operations.
• Demonstrated analytical and business communication skills.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Experience managing people is a plus.
• Project management skills needed.
• Must be flexible to changing priorities, project scopes, and deadlines.
• Highly proficient in MS Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Up to 20% travel (required).

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor the network of attorney firms and foreclosure trustees to maximize performance.
• Set SMART goals for the Attorney Network Coordinators.
• Oversee special foreclosure program implementation internally and with attorney network.
• Review monthly scorecards and lead performance calls with firms.
• Develop understanding of all performance metrics and scorecard methodologies.
• Maintain knowledge of the Legal Services Agreement and SLA expectations.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with federal/state rules.
• Conduct firm visits and file-level audits when needed.
• Coordinate with Legal/Compliance and External Audit teams on audits and controls.
• Communicate findings to executive management.
• Ensure full compliance with GSE requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
