Job summary

Haynes and Boone is seeking an Attorney Development Specialist in Dallas, TX. This exempt position supports firm-wide attorney training, CLE resources, and diversity initiatives, reporting to the Sr. Manager of Attorney Development.

The role collaborates with attorneys, committees, and administrative heads on training programs and associate evaluations. Essential duties include coordinating milestone development, orientation programs, and career development initiatives, while handling logistics,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; two years’ experience in similar duties at a large firm or professional services org.
JD or advanced degree is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and execute annual milestone development programs with the AD team.
Coordinate orientation initiatives including mentorship programs.
Support section or practice group training series.
Assist with attorney career development initiatives, including leadership development and coaching resources.
Follow-up with speakers to procure materials and confirm program details.
Manage logistics for trainings including invitations, materials, rooms, A/V, meals, and travel when needed.
Support talent management, incl. biannual non-partner review administration.
Assist with Attorney Development initiatives and liaise with lawyers and staff at all levels.
