Goodwin Procter Boston is seeking an Attorney Development Manager to drive development and engagement for associates in the assigned cohort. You will solicit input from partners, provide actionable feedback, and shepherd performance and talent decisions to align with the firm’s goals.

The role requires a JD and at least five years in a large law firm setting, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead across Practice Management, Recruiting, and Employee Relations.

Formación

• J.D. degree strongly preferred with solid legal principles and practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a large law firm setting.
• Experience in legal staffing, workforce planning, or attorney development preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Discretion and sound judgment in handling confidential information.

Responsabilidades

• Manage day-to-day attorney development and engagement for assigned cohort.
• Lead onboarding experience and integrate Attorneys into firm culture and workflows.
• Coordinate staffing decisions with matter teams to align skills with client work.
• Gather feedback to inform development plans, evaluations, and career progression.
• Lead strategic initiatives for hiring, onboarding, retention, and advancement.
• Collaborate with Practice Management, Recruiting, and Employee Relations to improve programs.
