Job summary

Goodwin is seeking an Attorney Development Manager to lead development, onboarding, and engagement for a cohort of attorneys. You will act as a strategic advisor, coordinating with partners and practice groups to align assignments with client needs and firm priorities.

You will partner with Recruiting, Practice Management, and Employee Relations to drive talent strategies, provide feedback, and guide performance reviews, ensuring a high‑performing, inclusive legal workforce.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 5 years of relevant legal staffing or attorney development experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day development, performance, and engagement for assigned Attorneys.
• Lead onboarding and integration into firm culture and workflows.
• Coordinate staffing with matter teams to align skills with client work.
• Gather feedback to inform development plans and career progression.
• Collaborate with Practice Management, Recruiting, and Employee Relations on talent strategies.
