Job summary
Optima Global Solutions Inc. seeks an Atlassian Platform & ITSM Engineer to support the SDLCNext environment within the PEO DHMS program.
You will engineer and administer the Atlassian stack, translate processes into scalable workflows, and deliver ITSM solutions for government users and engineers. The role requires hands-on configuration, governance, and incident response, with a focus on process improvement, adoption, and reliable platform operations in a high‑security environment.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of combined experience in enterprise platform engineering or administration, ITSM, or related discipline.
- Hands-on experience administering Jira and Jira Service Management in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with Confluence and integrating Atlassian tools via REST APIs or ScriptRunner.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution consulting, requirements, and delivery.
- Configure and maintain Jira, JSM, Confluence and related capabilities.
- Provide Tier 1/2 support for SDLCNext user needs and coordinate escalations.
- Plan and support releases, upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.
- Develop dashboards and reports for operational and management insight.
- Drive adoption, training, and knowledge continuity across teams.
