Alliance Orthopedics in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Physician Extender (Athletic Trainer) to join our multidisciplinary sports medicine team. This full-time role requires a valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer license and a background in patient care coordination within a collaborative medical setting.

You will work side-by-side with physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate care, collect histories, and perform preliminary assessments while maintaining

Qualifications

• Licensed athletic trainer with board eligibility or active license in NJ.
• Background in medical care coordination and clinical assessment.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and patient documentation.

Responsabilités

• Build rapport with patients and understand their goals.
• Coordinate medical care, obtain history, and perform preliminary assessments.
• Manage schedules, notes, imaging and care plans while maintaining confidentiality.
• Serve as liaison between physician and patient, providing support and encouragement.
• Conduct post-procedure follow-up and facilitate equipment distribution.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance and support administrative duties.
