Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Old Bridge, NJ is seeking a Physician Extender to join our multidisciplinary sports medicine team. This role works alongside medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, and physical therapists to coordinate patient care and support the clinical team.

A valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License is required, with on-site collaboration and on-the-job training provided. You will manage medical history, assist with assessments, coordinate schedules, and act as liaison between

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with patients and understand their goals.
• Obtain clinical history and perform initial assessments/evaluations.
• Organize physician schedules, notes, imaging, and care plans with confidentiality.
• Serve as liaison between physician and patient to provide support and encouragement.
• Conduct post-procedure follow-ups and coordinate durable medical equipment.
