Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in Toms River, NJ is seeking a Physician Extender to join our multidisciplinary sports medicine team. This full-time role collaborates with MDs, chiropractors, physical therapists, and other clinicians to coordinate patient care on a fast-growing practice.

The ideal candidate holds a valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License, a degree from an accredited AT program, and strong patient-care and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License REQUIRED.
• Degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport and understand patients' goals.
• Coordinate medical care and obtain clinical history.
• Organize physician schedules, notes, imaging, and care plans.
• Record vitals, test results, and progress notes with confidentiality.
• Serve as liaison between physician and patient and families.
• Conduct post-procedure follow-up next day.
• Facilitate distribution of necessary durable medical equipment.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and support clinic team.
