Job summary

Alliance Orthopedics in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Physician Extender to join our multidisciplinary medical team. This full-time position works alongside physicians, chiropractors, and therapists to coordinate patient care and support our sports medicine program.

The ideal candidate holds a New Jersey Athletic Trainer license, an accredited AT education degree, and strong patient-care, documentation, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Athletic Trainer License required.
• Degree from an accredited Athletic Training Education Program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care and support physicians in a multidisciplinary team.
• Manage clinical history and preliminary assessments.
• Organize schedules, notes, imaging, and care plans with confidentiality.
• Serve as liaison between physician and patient and families.
• Follow up post-procedure and assist in equipment distribution.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance; support administrative duties.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to support patient outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
