Job summary

Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA seeks a Facilities & Operations Coordinator to manage all Athletic and Recreational facilities. This role supports the Associate Athletics Director for Facilities & Operations in fulfilling the department's mission.

The position involves game-day management, facility operations for basketball home events, inventory and purchasing oversight, and ensuring compliance with university and NCAA policies.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects/assignments.
• Knowledge and experience in facility maintenance work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as game day manager for designated intercollegiate athletic events.
• Act as Facility Manager for Men’s and Women’s Basketball home events, collaborating with staff and officials.
• Perform bi-weekly facility checks of multiple athletic facilities.
• Document and report maintenance/custodial issues through the Work Order system.
• Coordinate with Trades Managers on custodial, maintenance, and grounds issues.
• Maintain inventory control and issuance of keys for Athletic Department Staff.
• Oversee purchasing/inventory control of facility signage and equipment.
• Ensure storage closets are organized with needed supplies.
• Liaise with third-party cable provider and address issues with staff.
• Coordinate with surplus manager for selling old athletic equipment.
