Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is looking for an Event Associate to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit each athlete's skill level and to support our in-store sport events and sponsored camps.

As the Field Associate you’ll assist the Field Lead/Coach, build relationships with local schools and leagues, and help bring clinics and afterschool programming to the Field, all while delivering athlete-first service with strong product knowledge.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of customer service experience preferred.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Strong detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Drive the highest level of customer service and deliver athlete-first experiences.
• Assist Field Lead/Coach with field programming and ensure athletes have fun and participate safely.
• Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and leagues for partnerships and events.
• Collaborate with Community Team to bring clinics and camps to the Field.
• Provide teammate training and coaching to support store vision and experience.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards.
• Promote warranty sales, Scorecard loyalty, private-label credit cards, and seasonal promotions.
• Offer consultative advice with product knowledge to athletes.
