Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking an Events Coordinator to support in-store and community events. You will plan, coordinate, and execute DSG-led events with attention to budgets, space configurations, staff coverage, and compliance.

You will partner with Community Leadership to deliver engaging experiences for athletes and families while maintaining safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in events or customer service, high school diploma, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience preferred.
• Previous event planning experience is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning DSG-led events, including cost planning and staffing.
• Become an expert on event space capabilities and configurations.
• Work with Community & Events Manager to ensure events are within budget and identify cost savings.
• Create Run of Show, Event Recaps, Emergency Information card and Rental Agreements.
• Oversee the event experience and guide athletes to participate safely.
• Leads and monitors reservations scheduling tool.
• Coordinate event entertainment and venue setup.
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment needs for store events.
