Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Delaware is seeking an Event Associate to provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit the skill level of each athlete and to support in-store sports events both on and off the field.

You'll build partnerships with schools and community groups, help deliver clinics and camps, coach teammates, and ensure high levels of customer service while promoting loyalty programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• Customer-service oriented.
• Strong detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide thoughtful product recommendations that fit the skill/experience level of each athlete.
• Support the Field Lead/Coach with field programming, guiding athletes to have fun and participate safely.
• Build relationships with local schools, community organizations and sports leagues for partnerships and field events.
• Work with the Community Team to bring clinics, camps and afterschool programming to the Field.
• Assist with providing teammate training and coaching to deliver the store vision and experience.
• Adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Adhere to loss prevention standards.
• Promote store programs including loyalty and promotions.
• Provide consultative product knowledge to athletes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
