Heartland Business Systems is seeking an Associate Solutions Consultant who will work closely with a Senior Solutions Consultant and inside sales to learn our products and processes. The role focuses on learning, driving new business within current accounts, and landing new customers through guided mentorship.

In this entry-level position, you will collaborate with engineers and sales teams, forecast new business, and participate in campaigns to meet sales goals while upholding HBS core values

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintain an outcome-focused mindset.
• Strong prioritization skills; be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Promote and resell HBS products and services to maximize ROI for current and future customer IT expenditures.
• Obtain strategic manufacturer sales certifications, such as Cisco Sales Expert and VMware Sales Professional.
• Build relationships within HBS’ partner groups (Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, HP) to boost licensing revenues and services.
• Follow internal guidelines for orders, timesheets, and service resource requests.
• Provide remedial project management and translate customer expectations to the System Engineer or Programmer.
