Job summary

Cornell College invites applications for an associate registrar who will guide students, faculty, and staff through registration and degree audits, and maintain the Academic Catalogue. The role supports transfer credit processing and graduation logistics.

The position also oversees the Stellic degree audit system, coordinates with the Registrar’s Office, and works with athletics on eligibility and GPAs, while supervising student workers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally in person and on the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the Academic Catalogue; assign course numbers.
• Update major/minor checklists across locations.
• Answer questions and interpret regulations for students and staff.
• Manage classroom assignments and room attributes.
• Contribute to Stellic audits and degree audits.
• Coordinate evaluation of transfer credits from other institutions.
• Serve on Commencement committee and track graduation progress.
• Supervise 3–5 student workers.
• DSO for international student advising in SEVIS.
• Maintain Registrar’s office website.
• Liaise with Athletic department on eligibility and GPAs.
