Performance Contracting is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its Carmel, Indiana operations. This hands-on role serves as a launching pad for future leaders, offering exposure to project management and estimating in a growing, employee-owned organization.

The position involves safety meetings, punch list management, QA/QC support, RFIs/submittals, labor control, and material coordination.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and initiative
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its Indianapolis 551 operations based in Carmel, Indiana.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Conducting safety meetings
  • Creating and managing punch lists
  • Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
  • Preparing RFI’s and submittals
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material orderingSupporting the implementation of the job schedule
  • Coordinating warranties and O&M’s
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

Salary range: $72,600-$77,600 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

This position is safety-sensitive.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Basic Requirements
