Job summary

OCC – Options Clearing Corporation in Dallas, TX seeks an Associate Principal of Software Engineering (Java) to lead development of a next-gen clearing system. You will work on microservices using Java/Spring/React, implement real-time data pipelines with Apache Kafka, and drive DevOps with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

You’ll contribute to SDLC governance, write unit/integration tests with JUnit, and help optimize performance while operating in a hybrid work setup with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• At least five years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and React.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and cloud deployments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build OCC’s next-gen clearing and settlement system.
• Develop and test using Java, Spring, React and microservices.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker and SonarQube.
• Use Terraform/Ansible for DevOps automation.
• Work with AWS and Google Cloud services.
• Design high-throughput, real-time data pipelines with Kafka.
