Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support our production facilities in Maryland. You will align HR strategy with business goals, focus on hourly teams, and partner with site leadership to scale rapid growth.

You will lead employee relations, implement programs, ensure compliance, and drive culture while collaborating with the People team on talent, performance, and onboarding. This role requires solid HRBP experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, or organizational development; certifications preferred.
• 2+ years HR support or HRBP experience.
• Experience supporting production/high-growth environments.
• Experience with large populations of hourly employees; regional support a plus.
• Excellent communication; self-directed, organized; coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Culture Champion: help scale and enhance culture and employee engagement.
• Employee Relations: confidential support, investigations, advising leaders.
• Administrative routines: onboarding, data maintenance, pay/position changes, safety records, state badging.
• Execution of programs: roll-out and maintenance for scalable processes.
• Relationship Management: partner with site leadership and People team to enable growth.
• Employment law & Leave: stay updated on federal/state laws; coordinate with Total Rewards.
• Talent & Performance: identify needs, gaps, and implement solutions.
• Project Management: support cross-functional projects with COEs.
