Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking an Associate HR Business Partner to support our production facilities as we scale. Based on-site, you will align HR strategy with business objectives, focus on hourly teams, and partner with site leaders to drive engagement and performance.

You will lead culture initiatives, handle employee relations, administer programs, ensure compliance, and manage talent and performance with the HRBP to identify gaps and implement solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development preferred; SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP Certification, preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in an HR support role or HR Business Partner experience.
• Experience supporting a production, distribution or high-growth, fast-paced and complex work environment.
• Experience with large population of hourly employees and providing regional support, a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to confidently interface with all levels of the organization.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Effective organization and planning skills - our systems and processes are manual and at times, administrative - must be able to keep up with proper documentation, filing and follow-up.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and coaching skills.
• Operationally strong, detail obsessed. Sees the big picture and understands how things connect. Must be able to operate at both strategical and tactical levels and appreciates that sorting the details is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Culture Champion: scale and enhance culture related to employee engagement and becoming a best place to work in cannabis.
• Employee Relations: serve as confidential resource to employees and managers; complete investigations and advise leaders.
• Manage Administrative Routines: ensure onboarding, rounds, pay/position changes, data maintenance, safety records, state badging, etc.
• Execution of Programs and Processes: roll-out and maintain programs for consistency and scalability.
• Relationship Management: build strong relationships with site management and cross-functional teams.
• Employment Law and Leave Policies/Administration: knowledgeable on federal/state law; assist with leave processes.
• Talent and Performance Management: identify talent gaps; support new solutions to close gaps.
• Project Management Support: handle one-off projects and improvements with other Centers of Excellence.
