Job summary

Central City Concern is seeking an Associate Director of Supportive Housing to lead a portfolio of transitional and permanent housing programs in the Portland metro area. You will mentor program managers, work with federal and local partners, oversee HMIS data systems, budgets, and contract compliance, and drive innovative, recovery‑focused community care to end chronic homelessness.

The role requires 8+ years in supportive housing (or equivalent education/experience) and strong supervisory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 6+ years in supportive housing OR an Associate’s degree with 7+ years in supportive housing OR 8+ years in supportive housing.
• Three years of supervisory or managerial experience in relevant area.
• Experience working with people in recovery from chemical dependency, homelessness, and mental illness.
• Ability to adhere to drug‑free workplace policies and federal/state privacy standards.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift heavy objects; pass drug screen and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and supervision to staff and program managers/supervisors in assigned programs.
• Participate in the Operational Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with City, County, State and Federal agencies to improve CCC-funded programs.
• Monitor contractual reporting and ensure compliance with government contracts.
• Assist in budgeting and ensure programs operate within budgets.
• Maintain HMIS data accuracy and train staff on new Case Management Software.
• Represent CCC Supportive Housing in the community and build partner relationships.
• Identify staff training needs and ensure timelyCCC trainings.
