Job summary

TemPositions is assisting a client, a nonprofit organization that supports permanent supportive housing for formerly homeless adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders, in recruiting an Assistant Program Director. The role provides clinical supervision to case managers and other social service staff to ensure excellent service and stable housing.

The position requires a Master’s degree or significant experience, strong leadership, and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s considered with significant experience.
• Supervisory and leadership experience required.
• Experience in supportive housing is a strong plus.
• Understanding of homelessness, housing first, and harm reduction.
• Strong data collection and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision to case managers and social service staff.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation per standards.
• Coordinate client care with onsite treatment providers.
• Support evidence-based practice models including harm reduction.
• Conduct weekly supervision and staff development.
• Assist with program operations and attend staff meetings.
• Interface with community agencies and funders.
• Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement.
• Lead group activities and curriculum development.
