Job summary

Central City Concern seeks an Associate Director of Supportive Housing to lead and scale transitional and permanent housing initiatives in Portland. You will mentor program managers and supervisors, bridge frontline care with regional and Federal partners, and drive data-driven strategies to end chronic homelessness.

You will oversee budgets, HMIS data, and contract compliance while shaping innovative engagement and retention approaches with Senior Executives and agency partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 6+ years in supportive housing; OR Associate’s degree with 7+ years; OR 8+ years in supportive housing.
• Three years of supervisory or managerial experience in relevant area required.
• Experience working with people in recovery from chemical dependency, homelessness and mental illness.
• Computer literacy.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen, TB Test, and DHS background check.
• Must possess a current driver’s license and be able to travel intra-city.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and supervision to staff and program managers/supervisors in assigned programs.
• Participate in the Operational Leadership Team.
• Collaborate with City, County, State and Federal agencies to improve CCC programs.
• Monitor contractual reporting for designated programs.
• Monitor program discharges, financial obligations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in annual budgeting to ensure programs stay within budgets.
• Ensure the Supportive Housing program meets contractual requirements and supports client housing, income, health, and recovery goals.
• Monitor documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop innovative strategies for engagement and retention of program participants.
• Coordinate with internal and external programs to provide best treatment options and community resources.
