Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Business Development Director – Safety & Regulatory Solutions to drive revenue growth in the life sciences market. You will own the full sales cycle, identify opportunities, craft proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals with senior executives.

Travel up to 50% across the US; reside in designated regions; collaborate with SMEs and Professional Services to deliver integrated software and services; ensure strong relationships and market expansion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of successful sales of professional services to Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device and/or Clinical Research Organizations.
• Experience selling to senior management in a fast-paced growth environment is essential.
• Full sales cycle experience: Prospect, Identify Opportunities, Propose Solutions, Negotiate, Close.
• Excellent written and verbal English; proposal writing and management experience.
• Willing to travel up to 50% across the US.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Reside in the greater Boston area, NY/NJ area, VA/DC metro area, or CA.
• Understanding of pharmacovigilance processes and SaaS market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prospect accounts focusing on Safety and Regulatory products and services.
• Identify and develop new accounts and follow up on existing leads.
• Develop and maintain productive relationships with key target accounts.
• Manage assigned accounts to generate both incremental and repeatable annual business.
• Initiate and manage RFI and RFP process and negotiate terms for all account programs and projects.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to ensure delivery of software and service solutions.
• Expand sale of product portfolio in the Safety and Regulatory market.
• Collaborate with Executives and SMEs to maximize account coverage.
• Maintain knowledge of changing regulatory guidelines and mandates.
